Mani up for a cure
ManiUpForACure is a large-scale community engagement challenge designed to kick start PH conversations (especially in men) during Pulmonary Hypertension Awareness Month. Men, women, and children will be asked to "mani-up" for the month of November. Paint your nails Periwinkle Blue, which symbolizes the blue lips of patients suffering from this chronic lung disease who cannot get enough oxygen into their circulatory system. This will create the opportunity to engage in conversation and share PH and CTEPH related stories with inquiring minds. Blue Lip Kiss Challenge
phaware will continue to engage the global PH community by expanding the Blue Lip Kiss Challenge across multiple events. phaware has distributed thousands of blue lip kiss cards to PH community members and phaware partners. I'm Aware that I'm rare
From January 25th - February 29th (Rare Disease Day), phaware is creating custom "I'm aware that I'm Rare" shirts. phaware will work with our sponsors at Bayer and Actelion to create a series of awareness art installations in public & private buildings and parks to illustrate what life is like for a PH patients with a series of PH facts attached to famous staircase risers across the United States.
Breathless moments campaign
phaware's next round of digital PSAs will feature various breathless moments of stunning digital photography and videos submitted by actual PH patients. These spots will also be infused with PH and CTEPH facts, which will explain how PH and CTEPH patients go through life breathless. Engage for a cure. Submit your breathless moments to phaware.
